How do I book my order with FinaLee?
Most to all of our communication is done via email, to place an order please fill out an inquiry at the Contact page.
Please send in photos of the desired cake/ cupcake design, as this will help us provide you with a quote. Please note that FinaLee does not directly copy or replicate cake/ cupcake designs. All photos are used as inspiration.
If you would like to move forward with your quote, a non-refundable deposit or full payment of your order total will be required to complete your booking.
Please note that we do not take tentative bookings. Your order will only be booked once you receive a quote and we receive your non-refundable deposit/ full payment along with a signed contract.
Are there any fees for requesting quotes?
FinaLee will provide up to three complimentary quotes upon request. A $20 fee will be applied for any additional quotes. To receive a quote, please fill out the inquiry form on our Contact page.
Is there a set price for custom orders?
All cake/ cupcake orders are considered custom orders, therefore pricing will be different. Pricing for all custom orders is based on cake/ cupcake size, the complexity of cake/ cupcake design, and the level of detail required. Our minimum rates are available on our Order page. Why is there a limit to cake tier stacking?
Due to kitchen limitations, we can only accommodate up to two stacked tiers for our Celebratory cakes. For stacking Petite cake tiers, please inquire about our stacking limitations. To see our cake sizes and dimensions please visit our Order page. To supplement additional cake servings, we recommend ordering multiple cakes or cupcakes.
How long do FinaLee’s baked products last?
We recommend that all baked products be consumed the day it is received. For cakes and cupcakes, store them in the freezer and they will keep them for about 2 weeks. For cookies and cake popsicles, store them in an airtight container at room temperature and they will keep for about a week.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
All products are made in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten, and dairy are present.
Is there any individual or premade cakes for sale?
FinaLee Floral Cakes is an online custom cake business that makes all of its products to order for the day of your event. The best way to try our cake flavors is by purchasing a Cake Tasting through our Pop-Up Events. Please visit our Cake Tastings Page to learn more.
When are Cake Tastings available?
FinaLee’s Cake Tastings are available at Pop-Up Events. Dates of when our next Pop-Up Event will be announced on our Instagram and on our Cake Tasting page.
How far in advance should I book my order?
For all orders, we kindly request a minimum of 3-week advance notice. This notice is to ensure that we can accommodate your order’s needs. However, orders can still be placed within less than 3 weeks based on the size of the order and event date availability. Please note that rush fees may be applied if orders are placed within 3 weeks or less.
Are deliveries and pick-ups available?
Yes, delivery and order pick-ups are available. For delivery please inquire about our delivery rates and availability. For pick-up, an email will be sent out with details of when and where to pick up. Please schedule your order pick-up or delivery time within the provided time frame listed on our Contact page.
How do I transport my cake?
For picking up cake orders, we recommend that cakes be transported on a non-slip flat/ leveled surface (ex. car floor) with the air conditioning on. Cakes can be stored at room temperature (ideally 72 degrees) until served, however, we recommend cakes be stored in the fridge and brought to room temperature (about 1 hour) before serving.
Does FinaLee create fondant or buttercream sculpture cakes?
FinaLee specializes in using fresh flowers, foliage, and succulents in its cake designs. Designs that include non-floral designs such as fondant or buttercream sculpture designs are considered outside our scope of work. To see which designs are considered by FinaLee, please visit our Instagram.
Where is FinaLee Floral Cakes located? Is there an address for the store?
FinaLee Floral Cakes operates as an online custom cake business and operates out of a certified CFO location in Monrovia, CA.
Does FinaLee have shipping available?
FinaLee does not have shipping options available. All of our desserts are available for pick up or delivery only.
